Itinerary:

Day 1:

  • Reach Guwahati Paltan Bazar at 9:00 am.

  • Pickup from Guwahati and drive to Mawphlang.

  • Check in to the homestay.

  • Visit Mawphlang’s sacred forest and spend the evening by hearing its ancient stories.

 

Day 2:

 

  • Visit Mawsai Cave

  • Visit Seven Sister Falls

  • Visit Nongriat Double Decker

Day 3:

  • Visit Rainbow falls and spends quality time there swimming and relaxing in the natural pond.

  • Start the trek back from the Nongriat village.

  • Visit Asia’s cleanest village Mawlynnong

  • Visit the living root bridge in Riwai village.

  • Overnight stay in Mawlynnong.

 

Day 4:

  • Visit Dawki river and enjoy the boating in clear water.

  • Visit zero point where India meet Bangladesh.

  • Enjoy your afternoon by swimming and boating in Krang Shuri

  • Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 5:

  • Take pleasure in Shopping through the streets of Shillong which has a very lively market.

  • Return back to Guwahati.

Those who want to come for the trip must be in good health and physically able. People with medical problems should make them known well before departure. Please consult your doctor prior to undertaking the trip. Any medical expenses incurred will be borne by the traveler and not Hygge Journeys.
Hygge Journeys reserves the right to cancel the trip prior to departure which includes, but is not limited to, few people booking on any trip in which case participants will be given a full refund. However, you will not be entitled to make any further claim for any injury, loss, expenses or damage either direct or consequential or for any loss of time or inconvenience which may result from such cancellation.
Personal travel insurance is not included in the trip price.
Hygge Journeys may for any reason change the date of departure or conclusion of the tour, or it is possible that a route change, postponement or delay either in relation to departure or to the duration of the trip may become necessary due to inclement weather, snow and ice conditions, political restrictions or any other cause. In the event of a change, postponement or delay, participants have no right to refund of the tour price in whole or in part or other compensation for any injury, loss or damage.
